For patients at risk for osteoporosis, our state of the art Lunar Prodigy Dexa Scanner provides a rapid and painless assessment of bone mineral density. This service can be ordered by your primary care physician with or without a referral to one of our endocrinologists. Our physicians and technologists are certified in bone density measurement and analysis, and they will provide a full report and plan of care to your referring physician.

For patients at risk for thyroid disorders, EDCC also provides ultrasound and radioactive iodine thyroid imaging. And for patients with thyroid disorders, EDCC also provides radioactive iodine treatment.

These endocrine and thyroid diagnostic and treatment options are unique because the tests, their interpretation, and the treatment are all performed onsite by our endocrinologists who are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of metabolic bone health and thyroid disease.
